Slow down and be careful out there

With heavy rain this morning, road conditions are slick and visibility is poor. Water is pooling on the roadways in several areas.

Police and other first responders are on the scene of multiple accidents, some with injuries.

Please stay safe. Slow down. Turn your headlights on. Allow additional space between you and the vehicle in front of you to allow for longer braking distances.

Above all, do not go through standing water. Turn around—don’t drown.
