Small business extravaganza on Saturday to bring networking opportunities to local businesses

Founder and CEO of Milly Mill Collection Briana Knox will be hosting a pop up fashion show on August 14 at the Vicksburg Convention Center located at 1600 Briggs Hopson Blvd.

Over 90 vendors are expected to participate in the event which will feature Knox’s own Milly Mill Collection. Local businesses are expected to attend, as well as visitors outside the state.

“I have been promoting this event a little over two months. All free promotion through social media and word of mouth, ” said Knox.

The traffic presents an opportunity for businesses to be able to network and begin to reach beyond the local level.

“It is important to me because a lot of local owned businesses need to network a little more. A lot of people want to go further than just being local, they want to go beyond the local experience. So, I think it will be a good experience for a lot of the businesses, especially the ones who are just starting, like myself,” said Knox. “I’m almost six months in and I hope to be further by next year,” she added.

The event will be free to attend and will take place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the fashion show beginning at 6 p.m.
