Smith hit six 3-pointers Tuesday for Vicksburg High Gators

Vicksburg High School basketball player Taylon Smith led the Gators to a 42-41 victory Tuesday over Provine High School.

Smith made six 3-pointers in the game which helped Vicksburg secure the win and bring their record to 10-6. He finished with a total of 19 points on the night.

Teammate Jalen Williams also stepped up, finishing with 9 points and Kameron Brown put up 8.

The Gators will be back in action Friday to face Ridgeland at home.
