The Clinton Police Department is searching for William Irvin Edwards, 55 in connection with the shooting death of Robert Davis, 45, on Sunday.

William Edwards, also known as “Napoleon Edwards” and “Polo” made personal posts on social media that could be connected to the crime. Clinton police are aware and are working to establish if there is a connection. Edwards is best known for his podcast, “The Cipher Voice.” His report on A to Z Towing in Jackson was widely shared in the Vicksburg area.

Sources close to the event say a love triangle may have been part of the issue as Davis and Edwards were both, reportedly, dating the same woman. According to WLBT, investigators say Davis was shot at least 8 times.

If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of Edwards, they are urged to contact the Clinton Police Department.
