South Street shooting suspect identified and in custody
Kenna Rogers, 23, has been identified as the shooter in an incident on South Street on Monday.
Just before noon on Monday, authorities were alerted to a shooting in the 1400 block of South Street.
A dispute between Rogers and her grandmother escalated. Rogers then opened fire and shot her grandmother, then her boyfriend.
Rogers then left the scene in a white Honda Accord with the weapon, according to reports. Vicksburg police were able to take Rogers into custody soon after.
The injuries sustained by both shooting victims is reported to be non life-threatening.
