Spring Break begins for area students
Students in the area have a reason to rejoice as Spring Break has arrived. Vicksburg Catholic Schools, Vicksburg Warren School District and Porter’s Chapel Academy will be observing Spring Break from Mar. 13 – Mar. 17, with Sisters of Mercy observing on Mar. 16 & 17.
Spring Break is an annual tradition that provides students with an opportunity to rest, recharge, and spend time with family and friends. Many families take advantage of this break to travel or explore new activities, while others choose to stay local and enjoy the many attractions in their own city.
For many students, Spring Break means traveling to new destinations and exploring new activities. Whether it’s a beach vacation or a skiing trip, Spring Break provides a unique opportunity for students to experience the world outside of the classroom.
Other students choose to stay local and explore the many attractions in their own city. From museums to amusement parks, there are plenty of activities to keep students entertained and engaged.
Classes are set to resume on Monday, Mar. 20.
