St. Aloysius blows out Mt. Salus by 41 points on Tuesday

St. Aloysius boy’s basketball team came out with a big win on Tuesday over Mt. Salus in a 71-30 victory.

“I’m proud of my guys for their efforts,” head coach Anthony Lumpkin, Sr. said. “We set goals and we met all of them last night.”

Padre Gray, Jr. led the way with 19 points for the Flashes, bouncing back from last week’s loss to Clinton Christian.

St. Aloysius stayed on top all night and quickly took 26-8 lead by the end of the first quarter.

Carter Magee, Will Keen and Matthew Pitre both put up nine points in the game as the Flashes continued to punish Mt. Salus. Lazaveon Sylvester added six points and Ahmad Stewart put up seven.

The Flashes will host Park Place on Friday.
