St. Aloysius defeated Greenville St. Joe 59-36

St. Aloysius girls basketball team captured a 59-36 win over Greenville St. Joe on Monday.
The Lady Flashes came out strong by taking an 11-6 lead in the first quarter.
Maddy McSherry, Falyn Lusby and McKenzie Cole had a outstanding performance by helping the team to a victory. McSherry led things with 16 points while Lusby and Cole ended the night with 14 on the board.
St. Aloysius took a 28-12 halftime lead and would stay on top of things throughout the night.
Emily Cook added eight points and Marissa Jabour scored five for the Lady Flashes and were able to secure victory under head coach Savannah Buck.
St. Aloysius will travel across town tonight to play against Porter’s Chapel Academy.
