St. Aloysius Jr. High softball team defeated Central Holmes 8-3

St. Aloysius Jr. High softball team came away with an 8-3 win against Central Holmes on Thursday.

Megan Theriot, Mallory Hobson and Marley Gibellino each managed RBIs in the first inning to put the Flashes up 3-0. CH answered back quickly and tied the game at 3 after a hit and two walks.

Camille Jeffers got a run after a single by Presley Carr to give the Lady Flashes a 4-3 lead by the end of the second.

The Lady Flashes owned the third inning with big hits coming from Kay Raider, Payton Smith, Theriot and Madison Connelly to extend the lead to 8-3.

Theriot led with two hits and three RBIs while Carr, Smith, Raider and Gibellino all had one hit.

Mageigh Haller got the win for the Lady Flashes by striking out four batters on the night.
