St. Aloysius Junior High defeated Prairie View Academy on Monday

VICKSBURG, Miss. – St. Aloysius Junior High School basketball teams defeated Prairie View Academy on Monday night.

Boys:

The Flashes took down PVA 36-31 in Monday night’s win. St. Al had two players to score in double digits.

Dru Gleese: 17 points and 7 rebounds 

John Hossley 11 points 

Patrick Southerland 3 points and 11 rebounds 

Evan Mallard 3 points and 9 rebounds

Caden Crocker 2 points 

Lady Flashes:

The Lady Flashes blew out PVA 54-24 in a big home win. St. Al was led by Kennadi Blassingame who scored scored 16 points in the victory. Presley Carr put up 14 points and Kelci Bingham added 13 on the board. Elle Larson scored five points and Olivia Copess put up four points. Addie G. Clay also scored two points.

Last week, the Lady Flashes also defeated Tallulah Academy in an away game. Bingham led the team with 10 points while Blassingame put up seven. Copes, Clay, and Larson both scored four points.

The Flashes will host TriCounty on Friday night.
