St. Aloysius Junior High softball team defeated Jackson Academy 12-11 on Thursday night.

Mageigh Haller helped the Lady Flashes get the first run after a single followed by Kay Raider who scored from a passed ball and Presley Brister stole a base at home.

The first inning was tied at three after JA picked up some runs and both teams eventually tie things at six by the end of the second.

The third inning would be the most profitable for St. Al as Brister and Haller got a steal at home. Bella McGahey hit a double followed by some steals to help the Lady Flashes secure the 12-11 win.

Kay Raider and Scarlett Coutch both led with two hits each while Brister, Haller, McGahey, and Camille Jeffers each had one hit. Brister and Kavanaugh both struckout two while Haller struckout one.
