St. Aloysius kicks off their youth football camp
St. Aloysius High School kicked off their youth football camp this where kids that are in kindergarten-sixth grade are learning key skills of the game.
Over 20 athletes participated in the camp where the varsity football team demonstrated the drills under the leadership of Head Coach Bubba Nettles.
The young athletes participated in bag drills, tackling drills and an intense 7 on 7 tournament that was led by defensive coordinator Derrick Watson.
The varsity players also stepped up to referee the games in the blazing hot Sun.
The Flashes throw this camp every year where they always seem to have a good turnout that helps advance the skills of the younger generation.
The camp will end tomorrow after the big championship 7 on 7 tournament between the campers.
