St. Aloysius softball team picked up two district wins over Providence on Saturday.

Game one:

The Lady Flashes earned three runs in the first inning after a single from Megan Theriot and an RBI from Madison Spencer.

Theriot hit a triple in the second while Presley Brister doubled to push the score to 7-0. After a hit by Presley Carr along with multiple walks, St. Al quickly took the 10-0 win.

Theriot went 2 for 3 at the plate while Brister(two RBIs), Madelyn Kavanaugh and Carr each had one hit. Crawley Haller also had a RBI.

Kyleigh Cooper threw a no-hitter and struck out seven in game one.

Game two:

Multiple steals gave the Lady Flashes a 4-0 lead until Cooper hit a triple in the second as St. Al went up by seven. Lili Perniciaro stepped up and hit an inside-the-park home run which was followed by a nice hit by Mallory Spencer to seal the 12-0 win.

Spencer and Perniciaro both had one hit and two RBIs while Maddy McSherry brought in one RBI.

Cooper had one hit and struck out eight in the win.

The Lady Flashes are 14-5 on the season and they will travel to face Adams County Christian on Monday.
