St. Aloysius soccer player Elizabeth Theriot commits to Jones Community College

St. Aloysius girl’s soccer player Elizabeth Theriot has committed to playing at Jones Community College next season.

Theriot, who is currently out with an injury, made her decision to play for Jones CC in April. She felt the Bobcats organization was the best place for her to expand her playing career.

“They have a very nice campus and soccer organization with some amazing coaches and great background,” Theriot said.

Theriot is now in her senior season where she plays for head coach Gio Baldizon. She scored seven goals last season under his leadership.

“He’s a great coach and very easy to talk to,” Theriot said.

Theriot will officially sign her scholarship later in the school year before she takes her talents to Ellisville, Mississippi.
