St. Aloysius softball team defeated Terry in a scrimmage on Tuesday

The St. Aloysius varsity softball team knocked off Terry High School in a scrimmage on Thursday in a 9-4 victory.

Kyleigh Cooper pitched the Flashes to take the win as she threw for seven strikeouts.

The Flashes had a big second inning where they racked up four run scores.

Ali Grace Luke led the team at the plate as she went 2 for 2 with 1 RBI. She also scored three times for the Flashes while teammate Maddy McSherry went 1 for 2.

Miracle Flowers, Cooper, Ryleigh Earnhardt, and Presley Bristler all had a RBI as well on the night.

St Aloysius junior varsity also played on Tuesday against Vicksburg High School where they tied 8-8.
