St. Aloysius High School football player Cooper Madison caught his first touchdown pass of the season last week in the Flashes big win over Washington School Oct. 16.

Madison caught the 40-yard pass in the first play of the Flashes possession last week to make the score 6-0 in the first quarter. For most of the night, he played on defense at cornerback in the 43-28 victory.

He is known for his great athletic ability. In football, he also plays on special teams where he sometimes kicks the extra point behind Reed Bourne, and he is also a soccer player for St. Aloysius.

Madison has been a big part of Flashes football over the past few years, and he will start Friday for St. Aloysius in the team’s last game of the regular season.

The Flashes face the Cathedral Green Wave Friday in Natchez, Mississippi, at 7 p.m.
