St. Aloysius baseball player Ethan Parmegiani has committed to play for Holmes Community College in Goodman, Mississippi, next season.

Parmegiani played on the varsity level for the past few seasons for the Flashes as the catcher. Over the past three years, he has helped the Flashes to winning seasons while continuing to improve his skills every year.

In his 2018 sophomore season, Parmegiani helped the Flashes to a successful 17-4 season and they advanced to the MAIS Playoffs. In his junior season with the Flashes in 2019, the team finished with an 11-8 record.

Parmegiani was preparing for a breakout senior year in 2020, but the season was cut short due to COVID-19 restrictions. St Aloysius ended the season with a 7-2 record after defeating Houston High School at the Battle of the Beach tournament in Biloxi, Mississippi in March.

At Holmes CC, Parmegiani will play for the Bulldogs under new head coach Scott DeLoach who was hired in April.
