St. Joseph Police Chief Karl Jones passes away

The area law enforcement community is mourning the loss of long time St. Joseph, Louisiana, Police Chief Karl Jones. Jones was 59.

“He passed away early Saturday morning at the Madison Parish Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Diane and two sons, Christian and Karl Jr.,” Tensas Parish Sheriff Ricky Jones said. “Tensas Parish lost a good man. Chief Jones wore many hats:  He was a community leader, pastor and fellow law enforcement officer. My prayers are with his family.”
