Stabbing on Speed Street leads to arrest

One has been arrested in relation to a stabbing which occurred on Speed Street overnight on Sunday, into Monday morning.

At around 12:30 a.m. on Monday, Vicksburg police were dispatched to Speed Street in reference to a stabbing.

An altercation ensued which allegedly led to a suspect, Levon Pinkney, stabbing another individual. Pinkney was arrested last year in relation to two stabbing incidents.

Police were able to take Pinkney into custody. The severity of injury sustained to the victim is unknown.
