Vicksburg High School’s Troy Stewart earned his 100th victory as a Head Coach in Tuesday night’s 57-35 win over Murrah.

Stewart, who is currently in his sixth season as the Missy Gators Head Coach, has built the program from the ground up. He took over the program that was 4-21 the year before. Since his arrival, he has led the Missy Gators to the playoffs each season.

Multiple athletes have signed collegiate scholarships under his leadership.

Not only has VHS made the playoffs every year during Stewart’s tenure, but they also have made it to the semifinals on a few occasions.

Stewart has won multiple awards since taking over VHS, such as District Coach of the Year and VDN’s Coach of the Year in both 2020 and 2022. His 2022 staff includes Deatra Cable and Michelle Jones.

The Missy Gators are now continuing their success under Stewart and currently sit with an 11-3 record. They will head to face Ridgeland on Saturday.
