Stolen police cruiser recovered on Interstate 20

A stolen police car was recovered on Interstate 20 on Monday.

According to initial reports, a man was pulled over by an officer in Brandon. He then overpowered the officer and stole his police cruiser.

Numerous officers were able to catch up to the man along Interstate 20 and recover the vehicle.

No injuries have been reported. No further information has been released at this time.
