Stolen vehicle recovered

At around 5:40 p.m. Friday, Vicksburg-Warren 911 received a report that a vehicle reported stolen had been spotted by the owner at the Oak Park Bestway.

Less than five minutes later, Warren County Deputy Dusty Keyes got behind the vehicle as it was leaving a store and proceeded on Indiana Avenue. A brief chase ensued that ended at the back of the apartment complex at 902 Blossom Lane.

Three black males fled into the wooded area near the apartment complex. Numerous law enforcement officers were in the area looking for the suspects.
