Tropical Storm Cristobal continues to bring in high winds and rain, which downed several trees in the area Sunday night, blocking the roadways in some cases.

Local sources report that multiple trees have fallen over Oak Ridge Road north of Tucker Road, making Oak Ridge impassible at this time.  Fallen trees are also blocking the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 61 bypass.  Mississippi Highway Patrol is on the scene.

Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes as officials work to safely clear the roadways.

Following the power outages experienced by 15,127 Entergy customers caused by severe weather Friday, service has been interrupted once again for many residents on portions of Warriors Trail, U.S. Highway 80, and neighborhoods along Tiffentown Road and Freetown Road in Warren County.  It is estimated that approximately 750 residents are starting their day without power this morning.
