Structure fire on Poole Road in Warren County

Fisher Ferry Fire Department, LeTourneau Fire Department and members of several other departments responded to a structure fire at 345 Poole Road off Nailor Road in southern Warren County this evening.

The fire started right around 8 p.m., Jan. 1, in a shed near the house.

Apparently, the shed has several oxygen and acetylene canisters used for welding and other potentially explosive items, so firefighters are being extra cautious to make sure the fire is completely out and ensure everyone’s safety.

No injuries have been reported. The shed looks like a total loss.

Firefighters will likely be on the scene until 10 p.m. or later this evening.
