Students evacuated due to fire at Warren Central High School

Students were evacuated after a fire was reported at the Warren Central High School campus.
Around 2:30 p.m. a structure fire was called into 911. The fire was reported to be on Highway 27, which turned out to be the school.
School staff quickly evacuated all the students to safety to the stadium.
The fire started in the A building. Firefighters confirm the flames began on the roof where workers were laying down tar.
The fire was quickly extinguished. Students were able to leave the stadium at around 3:10 p.m.
Local and County first responders were on scene. No injuries were reported.
