Suspect arrested in Vicksburg stabbing incident
Vicksburg Police officers arrested a man Tuesday for aggravated assault in a stabbing incident.
Officers responded to an address in the 700 block of Dabney Street in reference to a disturbance on March 17 at 9:25 p.m. They found a male victim who had been stabbed in the chest and the upper right arm. The victim was transported to Merit Health River Region. His condition is not known.
Tevin Turner, 27, was arrested at the scene for aggravated assault.
Turner made his initial court appearance before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court Wednesday morning, where he received a $75,000 bond and was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
