Suspect in Texaco incident wanted by the police

An incident at the BG Jr. Texaco on Clay near Berryman just before 5 p.m. on Friday has caused the VPD to put out a BOLO for an individual.

Eric Deshawn Jackson, Jr, 23, has been involved in an ongoing dispute with another individual. They exchanged words over social media and then ran into each other at the Texaco on Clay. When Jackson saw the other person he, according to Troy Kimble with the VPD, produced a 9mm and shots were fired. As a result he will be charged with aggravated assault.

Jackson is reportedly in a gray Toyota Rav 4 with Oregon plates.

Jackson is to be considered armed and dangerous and is known to be carrying a 9mm handgun.
