Suspect in Vicksburg triple shooting has turned himself in

Anthony Qualls turned himself in around 3 p.m. Monday, according to Warren County Sherriff Martin Pace.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office issued three active aggravated assault warrants for 19-year-old Anthony Qualls.

Qualls is wanted in connection with a triple shooting that occurred just after midnight Sunday in the China Grove community. Two men and one woman were shot at a bonfire. According to witnesses, the men, twin brothers, were both shot in the abdomen, and the woman was shot in the leg.

The men were transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. The woman remains at Merit Health River Region. Their conditions are not known.
