Suspected murderer of Claiborne County woman captured

Newly installed Claiborne County Sheriff Edward Goods has announced the capture of Darion Hill.

Hill had been on the run since being identified as a person of interest in the death of Quawanda Hicks, 21. They were last seen together on Dec. 19, 2019. Hicks’ body was found on Dec. 26 with multiple gunshot wounds.

Sheriff Goods is on his way to bring Hill back to Port Gibson.

The Vicksburg Daily News will speak with the sheriff once he has returned to town.
