Tallulah Academy softball team defeated WCC 4-2 on Saturday

Tallulah Academy softball team grabbed a 4-2 win over Wilkinson County Christian on Saturday afternoon.

The game remained scoreless until the fourth inning when Ginny Claire Hargrave singled which brought in the first run. Carrie Beth Miller got the next RBI for TA as they went up 2-0.

Before the ending of the fourth, Rebecca and Jessica Bullock both got a hit to push the lead to 4-0.

WCC wouldn’t get on the board until late in the game but it wouldn’t be enough to stop they Lady Trojans as they took the 4-2 victory.

Hargrave had a good game pitching as she struck out 14 batters.

Preston Collins went 2 for 3 at the plate while Hargrave, Emma Collins, and Bullock each had one hit.
