Tallulah Madison Community Center unavailable for funerals due to COVID-19 concerns

The City of Tallulah, Louisiana, released a statement Sunday informing residents that the Tallulah Madison Community Center will no longer be available as a venue for funerals due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the community.

The Facebook post was presented as an announcement from the desk of the mayor, Charles Finlayson, who encouraged residents to wear a mask, practice social distancing and hand-wash frequently, saying, “Let’s all do our part to keep our community as safe as possible.”
