Tallulah man killed in Lincoln Parish crash

Shortly before 5:15 a.m. Monday, Louisiana State Police Troop F responded to a one-car crash on Interstate 20 just east of Choudrant in Lincoln Parish.

The crash claimed the life of a man from Tallulah, Louisiana.

Adam Poisso, 31, was driving a 2014 Jeep Patriot and traveling eastbound on I-20. For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle went off the right side of the road and struck several trees. Poisso, who was restrained, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers obtained a toxicology sample, and it will be submitted for analysis. The crash remains under investigation.

So far in 2020, Troop F has investigated 20 fatal crashes resulting in 21 deaths.
