A teenager has been arrested for the murder that occurred over the weekend on Blossom Lane.

Seventeen-year-old Albert Jones III has been charged with first-degree murder, along with four counts of aggravated assault. Justice Court Judge Randy Lewis set his bond at $500,000 for the murder charge and $100,000 for each of the aggravated assault charges, totaling $900,000.

Last Saturday in Warren County, a shooting occurred at the Azalea Apartments on Blossom Lane. A call was received around 2 a.m. reporting that individuals had possibly been shot. When Warren County Deputies arrived, they discovered a group of people gathered in the parking lot.

In the incident, three people were shot. A male and a female were both struck in the leg, while 21-year-old Keon Williams was shot in the leg and the head. All three victims were promptly taken to UMMC (University of Mississippi Medical Center) for medical treatment. Williams did not survive.
