Trinity Valley Community College football player Rasheed Lyles has committed to the Jackson State University Tigers to play on the defensive line.

Lyles posted the info Friday on Twitter.

Lyles chose to play for the Tigers over North Carolina State University Wolfpacks, who also offered him a scholarship.

JSU received another commitment Friday when offensive lineman James Reddick II from Fort Valley, Georgia, posted his intentions to play for coach Deion Sanders as well.

JSU’s football season will begin in February under a brand new coaching staff and many new recruits from across the country.
