Thank an officer during National Police Week

With all that is happening in the world today, it is important to continue to thank those local heroes who keep us safe, especially from May 15-21  as we celebrate National Police Week.

Being a police officer is more than just a normal job. Intensive training and a necessity to do things for the common-good is required as these men and women sacrifice family time to respond to calls that would frighten most people.

Although the image of police officers has downgraded in recent years, there are plenty of law enforcement who wear the uniform proudly and continue to serve with dignity and honor.

Celebrate this week with VDN as we honor those during National Police Week.
