Thank you, Sue Roberts

For many decades the citizens of Vicksburg had a staunch ally in “Miss Sue,” aka Sue Roberts.
Most recently she served as the South Ward Alderman’s assistant. In past times she managed to organize things for the Mayor and Aldermen. Throughout her four decades serving the citizens of the City of Vicksburg, Miss Sue always was a pleasant and smiling face. She was quick with a laugh and even quicker with a friendly smile.
She never lost sight that her position existed to benefit the citizens of our community. She was a true public servant with a servant’s heart. Thank you, Miss Sue, for all you’ve done for all of us for a very long time.
Rest well.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
