Thanks & Appreciation from Paws Rescue

Submitted by Leigh Conerly, President, Paws Rescue Paws Rescue is incredibly grateful for the continued support of the Vicksburg-Warren County community as the Rescue works to save and care for homeless pets. Paws Rescue specifically would like to thank all of those who sponsored a dog or cat or multiple dogs and cats during our Spay Day USA initiative in February. Because of your generosity, enough money was raised to spay or neuter approximately 45 pets over the next few months. This effort will greatly reduce the number of unwanted puppies and kittens in our community. Paws Rescue volunteers and rescued dog, Buck, also appreciates the great folks at H&R Block who conducted a fundraiser for Paws Rescue March 18. We all had a great time and Buck, who is available for adoption, was thrilled to meet so many fans! The donations from this event will be used toward the costs of Buck’s heartworm treatment. If you would like to get involved in saving our community’s homeless pets, please consider volunteering for the Rescue or fostering a Paws Rescue pet that is awaiting adoption. And most importantly, have your own pet spayed or neutered today! Sincerely, Leigh Conerly, President, Paws Rescue EDITOR’S NOTE: To learn more about Paws Rescue, visit www.PawsRescuePets.org. ]]]]> ]]>
