Thanks to our readers & neighbors

On Monday morning, VDN’s David Day and Tommy Parker met with Bishop Thomas Reed and members of the Wayside Apostolic Church of Deliverance to present them with a check for over $3100.

Due to the overwhelming support of our audience, the church has enough money to resolve the water bill issues and make some repairs at the church. We offer our sincere gratitude to everyone who chose to contribute. We also offer our heartfelt thanks to Michael Gates, his family and staff at Big Bee’s Barbecue.

This outpouring of love is a shining example of what makes Vicksburg and Warren County great; neighbors helping neighbors in their time of need.
