The 7th Annual Mississippi Science Festival takes place on Saturday, Sep. 17

The Mississippi Science Festival (MSF) is the LeFleur Museum District’s (LMD) signature event presented by C Spire, which will take place on September 15-17, 2022.
MSF brings the community together to celebrate careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and has introduced children of all ages to the wide variety of STEM concepts and industries that are available in Mississippi. Guests can purchase 1 ticket for Saturday’s festival and explore all 4 museums for one low ticket price of $10. Exhibitors and activities will be at all four LMD museums – the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, the Mississippi Agriculture & Forestry Museum, the Mississippi Children’s Museum, and the MDWFP’s Mississippi Museum of Natural Science.
For this year’s MS Science Festival we are excited to welcome Major League Baseball (MLB) executive, architect, and urban planner Janet Marie Smith. She is a graduate of Callaway High School and Mississippi State University. Her accomplishments include renovating some of the most popular baseball parks in the country, including Baltimore’s Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Atlanta Braves’ Turner Field, Boston’s Fenway Park, and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
