The Beauty of Eagle Lake by Darlene Davidson

The Great Backwater Flood of 2019 has been devastating to everyone in the South Delta.  The historic flooding has covered 550,000 acres of land and caused endless heartache to its victims.  The current projection says the water will be on the ground well into July and maybe later than that for some areas.

Even in all this devastation, Eagle Lake resident Darlene Davidson has been documenting the flood with her photography, which reminds us of the beauty in this corner of paradise.
