The best to you, Tommy Parker

Tommy Parker has once again left the employ of the Vicksburg Daily News. As he said in his departing email, “This time it’s final.”

Tommy is a talented news reporter and interviewer. His interview with the assistant DA’s on Wednesday is a testament to his interviewing skills and just this morning he broke the news of Vicksburg Police Chief Milton Moore’s departure from the police department. All a testament to his skills. When he is on, he is really on.

Tommy also had fun poking at me and the Vicksburg Daily News on his way out. As he told me in one of our last conversations, “I’m still Tommy Parker!”

Yes, he is.

Personally, I still wish nothing but the best for Tommy and his endeavors. I sincerely hope this time proves to be the Golden Goose for Tommy and he hits it big.
