As we get ready to enter this century’s “roaring” ’20s, the Cottonwood Public House and Key City Brewing Company is offering folks in Vicksburg a fabulous way to ring in the New Year.

The Cottonwood (1311 Washington St.) hosts a New Year’s Eve Speakeasy on the roof, Tuesday, Dec. 31, from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m. The 1920s-themed party will feature jazz, dancing, and of course, food and drink prohibition style. Everyone is encouraged to come dressed in ’20s-era clothing. That means fringe, sparkle and of course, pinstripe suits.

The Cottonwood will be offering champagne and prohibition-era cocktails while folks dance their way into the new year. There’s no cover charge. Just remember the password: “giggle water.”

For more information on this New Year’s Eve event contact Cottonwood Public House at 601-501-7712 or visit the event Facebook page.
