The Missy Gators are still standing strong
Vicksburg High School girl’s basketball is still on top, having taken down most of their competition this season. The team currently stands with a 14-3 record on the year.
The Missy Gators are led by head coach Troy Stewart who has stirred the program into the right direction. VHS remains as one of best 5A competitors in the state.
Before the Christmas break, the Missy Gators were on a nine game winning streak, punishing teams left and right.
After losing key players over the years, VHS still managed to be a dominant threat on the court and remain at the top of their district with the help of assistant coaches Valencia McFarland and Deatra Cable.
Their biggest win was a 72-38 victory over Natchez early in the season where they stayed on top throughout the entire game.
