The Missy Gators defeated Pearl 14-8 on senior night

Vicksburg High School softball team took down Pearl 14-8 on Monday night.

After trailing 3-0 at the end of the second inning, VHS got on the board in the third after a double by Trinity McGloster that brought in two scores. A single by Lexi Kistler helped tie things at three heading into the fourth.

Late in the game the Missy Gators turnt things up a notch with big doubles by Avery VanNorman, Harmony Harris, McGloster, and Jordan Grace that gave VHS a 9-5 lead.

VHS ended the night with multiple hits as they never gave up their big lead.

Jordan Grace and Harris both collected three hits while Charlie VanNorman, McGloster, Avery VanNorman, Kellisia Walker, and Lexi Kistler all got two hits. McGloster and Harris each had three RBIs.

Lili Kistler pitched in the win for VHS and struck out four batters.

The Missy Gators will host Cleveland Central on Thursday.
