Warren Central High School football team celebrated homecoming night in style by defeating Terry 35-0 on Friday night.

The Vikings got on the board first from a 22 yard fumbled punt return by Ben McMullin. Later on in the first quarter senior quarterback Jack Wright hit Maddox Lynch for a seven yard touchdown to extend the Vikings’ lead to 14-0.

A little over five minutes to go before halftime, Wright connected with Trey Hall this time on a 61 yard touchdown pass to go up 21-0.

The Viking offensive line helped pave the way for WC to keep finding their way into the end zone in the second half.

WC’s defense played executed great all night by not allowing the Bulldogs a chance to get in the end zone.

Hall scored two more touchdowns in the third quarter from a 58 yard pass from Wright and a 7 yard rushing touchdown to finish with three touchdowns on the night.

WC is now on a three game winning streak as they now sit at 7-1 on the season and 4-1 in district play. The Vikings will travel to Petal on Friday under Head Coach Josh Morgan.

More info about the game will be provided once the livestream is available.
