They tried to hit Battlefield Drug again; arrest made by multiple agencies


Multi-agencey effort arrest individual after they tried to pass bad scripts at Battlefield Drugs.
The arrests was made around 3:30 p.m. at Circle K on Indiana at North Frontage Road yesterday afternoon. The massive showing of law enforcement drew a lot of attention from the public and speculation on what had occurred. Agents with MBN, the Warren County Sheriff’s Department and the VPD worked together to make the arrest.
According to Lt. Donnie Heggins with the Vicksburg Police Department, “We received some information in relation to prescription forgery. We set up surveilance at the store, Battlefield. The individual came to the store to pick up the prescription. When they left the store they went to the Circle K (at Indiana and North Frontage) and thats when we were able to take them into custody.”

Arrested was 24-year-old Murrey Pickett from Brandon, Mississippi. Pickett is being arraigned today in Municipal Court.
