In his morning update with VDN, Vicksburg Mayor George Flaggs Jr. said the water system is being slowly brought back online. He continues to ask residents to be vigilant about leaks and to report them immediately.

As the system builds pressure additional leaks develop and have to be addressed.  The city remains under a boil water notice.

The Yokena Jeff Davis Water District receives their water from the city and thus they remain heavily impacted by this event. They have not been able to bring their system back online due to a lack of pressure being recovered at their pumping station on Redbone Road.

Fisher Ferry Water District has remained completely operational throughout this entire weather event.

Eagle Lake and Culkin have boil water notices in effect.

Entergy Spokesperson Sheila McKinnis said there are currently 4685 outages in Warren County. Additional resources arrived this morning and they anticipate having a near complete restoration by late tomorrow.

Yazoo Valley has just under 1200 outages system wide. They have received assistance from Ponotoc Electric Power Association and Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas.

A large contingent of trucks are currently working in the Oak Ridge area of Northern Warren County.

Twin County Electric Power Association has their most recently updated numbers at below 200 service outages – all in Warren and Issaquena County near the Eagle Lake Community
