Thomas Marsala, Cameron Hill Named to NJCAA Region 23 Team

RAYMOND, Miss. – Thomas Marsala and Cameron Hill of the Hinds Community College Baseball program were both named to the NJCAA Region 23 team.
 
Thomas Marsala, fresh off of earning a spot on the All-Conference First Team as a Designated Hitter, was named to the Region 23 team following his performance on the diamond this season. Marsala was among the leading hitters in the Eagles lineup this season and finished the year with a .389 batting average, .472 on-base percentage, and racked up 81 hits over the course of the 2024 season. The Baton Rouge, La. native was second on the team with 13 doubles, 13 homeruns, and 57 RBI.
 
Cameron Hill joined Marsala in being recognized by the NJCAA as a member of the Region 23 team as an outfielder. Hill recent was named a member of the ALL-MACCC First Team for the first time in his career. The Madison, Miss. native concluded the season with a .315 batting average and grabbed 67 hits. The sophomore was one of the top hitters for the Eagles as he earned a team high 19 doubles, 17 homeruns, and 74 RBI. Hill currently sits atop of the Eagles Record book with 17 homeruns hit in the BBCOR era.
