Thornell racked up hits for PCA on Tuesday
Raegan Thornell played a significant role Porter’s Chapel Academy softball game on Tuesday in a 20-13 loss to Deer Creek.
While pitching for two innings, Thornell threw two strikeouts before making a killing at bat.
Thornell went 4 for 5 at the plate and homered in the second inning with two runners on base. She also had four run scores while her and teammate Katie Tillman led PCA with three RBIs a piece.
PCA came up with 14 hits on the night but it wasn’t quite enough to defeat the Warriors. The Lady Eagles will be back in action on Saturday at the Tri-County Tournament.
