Three accidents this morning near I-20 and Halls Ferry Road

Roads around Vicksburg are still slick this morning after yesterday’s heavy rains.

At least three accidents have been reported in the vicinity of Interstate 20 and Halls Ferry Road, all before 7 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15.

All of the accidents seem to be fairly minor; however, one of the accidents involved minor injuries.

Please take care on the roads today, and be sure to watch for standing water, which can be dangerous.

Do not attempt to drive through standing water. Turn around; don’t drown.
